Oil and Water ?

I swear if I see one more tweet or hear anyone else say social networks ruin relationships ima BLOW. People always trying to put the blame elsewhere. If your relationship is REALLY that frail that a few tweets/fb post are the demise of your whole shit then yall dont need to be together in the first place. I dont know about yall but when it comes to this issue, a few things come to mind:

1. Both counterparts should know what is and isnt appropriate whether its text, bbm, twitter, fb chat, WHATEVER...point blank! So dont blame an app or website entirely on why "shit didnt work"

2. For the most part social networks are just that...social networks. Theyre made to be used for social reasons therefore niggas will be social and he/she just needs to grow up and get over it.

3.  Do yall KNOW how yall be sounding ? Someone ask why yall broke up you begin your sentence with oh because on facebook or on twitter..etc...shit just sound dumb.  

4. People need to realize everything isnt for everybody. Yes its human to vent and express ourselves but theres a line...If you werent so busy tweeting or posting about yalls issues ALL the time..others wouldnt think they had a chance with you or your significant other. Never forget someone is ALWAYS waiting to take your spot.

At the end of the day, Im not letting a social network or anything along those lines destroy something I took the time to build...I cant go out like that. Yes, Im aware situations do arise because of twitter and  w.e but trust, im deading the situation then moving on in my relationship. #NEXT

Conclusion .

I think I figured out why I dont like being home for long periods of time anymore. I have TOO much idle time here. Not to mention that I feel like I outgrew this place in more ways than one...Yeah, its nice to visit and show love to old friends BUT after a week im bored! The summer isnt so bad but the winter?! -___-  tuhh...its like after shopping and a session here and there I be feeling like im out of options...therefore I end up with more idle time than needed. Granted time with yourself is necessary but like they always say too much of anything isnt good for you :-/ ; I think I just need a vacation or something..but going back to school would suffice (for now anyways.)

New Year ; Same Bullshit

Its that time of year again folks, you know the one where a new year approaches and everyone goes off about cutting people off, setting goals, a new year = a new me...that whole thing. Am I the only one dreading this BS ? I haven't seen a lot of tweets or fb post about it yet BUT I know they're coming *cues suspenseful music* By all means, I'm happy that people are ready and willing to set goals and get rid of a few skeletons in their closets but I just think its horseshit that they wait for a new year to do it...not to mention that they must broadcast it EVERYWHERE.

The way I see it..

1.If you're really serious about changing certain aspects about yourself then you'll do it; fck talking. Anyone can go on and on about how they're going to change but you'll be viewed the same way unless you have something to SHOW for it.

2. There's nothing wrong with cutting people off as a way to start the New Year "out with the old, in with the new" but im tired of the SAME people always saying it. If you switch up your crew every year then something's wrong....it's probably YOU people should be cutting off. Nonetheless, on the other side of things, I personally think we're old enough and hopefully smart enough to stop fcking with people if we feel theyre no good or w.e to begin with...they shouldnt even be in your life long enough to be talking about getting rid of them.

and 3. stop doing things to get a rise outta people i.e. putting up some wild status or tweet about the new year and not giving a fck blah blah blah...you're fiening for attention. There are billions of people planning on doing the same shit you are, you're not special & this isnt a special occasion...which proves my point if youre going to do it then stfu and DO IT .

Hopefully, those of your who are infamous for this same shit will read this and think twice as 2010 comes to an end.

Anyone else's news feed on facebook or twitter time line filled with tumblr post out the ass?  [ SHEESH ] I mean every time I blink my eyes, someones talking about follow them on tumblr. Im not gonna flat out call folks hype beast but..fuck it....yall are HYPEBEAST! Dont get me wrong, im not trying to shit on this movement completely because I'll admit i enjoy lookin at ppls post from time to time and this whole uproar has inspired me to start blogging again....that and Ill be home for an entire month (what better way to pass the time by?) but god damn. I guess all im saying is use tumblr with purpose, blog with purpose, damn near everything you do should be done with purpose....if not "FCK IS YOUR LIFE ABOUT ?' Ill wait.......
